BUILT FOR PLAY, VOL. 2: SOURCING EVERYTHING WE MAKE WITHIN THE USA

From foam to boxes, the raw materials used by Foamnasium® come from the USA.*

Since launching in 2010, we have prioritized and protected American manufacturing. For us, that priority goes beyond simply completing the finished product in USA, it includes the sourcing of each material used in our process.

From foam “buns” to fabric rolls to zippers and all the way to packaging, each raw material needed to create Foamnasium® products come from cities around the United States of America.

Foam, Indiana.

We’re fortunate to be located in the Midwest where all of the largest domestic foam manufacturers have locations. Specifically, each of them have locations in Northern Indiana. We purchase from all of them and regularly work with their executive leadership to maximize quality, availability, and price.

Fabric, Connecticut.

Finding fabrics made domestically is not as easy as it once was. Further, finding quality, cost-effective fabrics that are able to be wipe cleaned is even harder. We’re exceedingly thankful for the relationship we have with our fabric manufacturer in Connecticut, who has worked hard to ensure they keep up with the growth of our market.

Zippers, Georgia.

Incredibly, there are only two companies in the entire country who actually make zippers. Two. We’ve bought from both, but have recently narrowed down to one, located in Georgia.

Boxes, Indiana.

Like seemingly everything else, there has been drastic shortages in paper used in boxes. Fortunately, having a relationship with a manufacturer just down the road in Indiana has kept us ready to ship to each customer.

*Made in USA materials excludes fabric used in items made by Foamnasium® exclusively for Williams Sonoma based on selections by Pottery Barn Kids® designers.

Everything available on foamnasium.com is made and sourced in the USA.
