As we’ve outline in previous posts, Foamnasium is a manufacturer in the truest sense. We make play products using high end, American-made raw materials. We try to operate as stream-lined as possible, maximizing output to ensure speedy shipping and quality production.

Within our manufacturing framework lies a personal touch of handmade craftsmanship that is truly unique in the toy industry. Every product we create contains individually cut foam and fabric, individually sewn covers, and is individually packaged by the hands of our craftspeople.

Individually Cut.

One of the most unique aspects of Foamnasium is our roots in fabrication. Since 1952, we’ve been specializing in the manufacture of foam components for furniture products all over America.

Today, we’ve translated that expertise and extended our reach to vinyl. Unlike nearly every other company in our market, every unit we sell is taken from raw materials that are cut to to size by craftspeople in our facility in Indiana.

Individually Sewn.

There are many brands in this industry that import their pre-cut and pre-sewn fabrics from overseas. Their processes are economical and certainly have their advantages.

But, we don’t create that way.

Our sewing department has grown from a handful of people to over 30 in the last few years. This team is passionate about their craft and continues to grow and improve in quality and teamwork.

Individually Packaged.

Machines are nice. For scaling companies, they’re important. For small businesses like Foamnasium, they’re crucial to try and go up against internationally sourced competitors.

But to us, it’s equally important that our trained craftspeople are putting the finishing touches on each of our products before they ship. Every one of our units are individually packaged, so when our customers see “thank you” cards in their shipments, they know we mean it.
