MATERIALS AND QUALITY

  • You can read all about our American-made Foamnasium materials here.

    The Fabric

Every piece of fabric used in our covers are tested to be strong, easy to clean, flame retardant without the use of FR Chemicals. Whether it is our enhanced fabric or traditional vinyl, it is tested and accredited to ensure that it is both lead-free and phthalate-free, ensuring a safe environment for children.

    The Foam

All of our foam is made in the USA, CertiPUR-US certified and completely fabricated at our facility in Greenfield, IN. We use foam with a density of 1.5lbs/cubic foot (how heavy it is, related to durability) and a 50 IFD (which refers to the firmness of the foam). That means it’s the same density as most foam cores that come in bed in-a box mattress, providing children with great support during building and climbing.

  • The vinyl covers are wipeable and durable and they will provide years of play. The enhanced fabrics are even easier to wipe clean and even more durable. Additionally, they feel more comfortable to touch. Learn more about the enhanced fabrics here.

  • All materials we use to make Foamnasium are sourced domestically, right here in the USA.

Most of Foamnasium’ s vinyl is made in Connecticut and the foam is made and fabricated right here in Indiana. Unlike any other foam playset you’ll find, we cut and sew every piece of Foamnasium right here in our facility in Greenfield, Indiana.
